When I was a staff photographer for the Indiana University Media Communications Team and based at IUPUI in Indianapolis, I was responsible for gathering a variety of art. While at an awards ceremony dinner at the Skyline Club, which overlooks the downtown circle, I saw a compelling image of downtown at sunset. An image I shot for the uniqueness of the angle, was used on campus news stands. Seeing unique images in the moment, though they might not have an immediate use for a poject is one of my skills that sets my work apart.
